Alpha Phi - Gamma Xi

Hello and welcome to the website of the Gamma Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi at Wichita State University!

As the president of the Gamma Xi Chapter, I am honored to represent this remarkable group of young women.

It is hard for me to put into words how extraordinary my experience has been in Alpha Phi. Alpha Phi is a place that you can grow as an individual and a leader. Alpha Phi exemplifies what true sisterhood is all about.

Being an Alpha Phi gives me the feeling of being a part of something much bigger than myself; a group of women banded together over 139 years and now 151 different Universities. I am making friends of a lifetime and experiences I will find nowhere else but right here at Gamma Xi. I will never forget a moment of the time I have spent at WSU with my sisters in Alpha Phi.

My sisters amaze me every day as you can find them throughout our campus and Wichita involved with a variety of student organizations and community groups.

I look forward to the upcoming year with unbridled enthusiasm! Alpha Phi has enriched my college career with so much fun and excitement. I am in hopes of making this year “phi-nominal” for Gamma Xi. I am so excited that with school starting in the fall that I will once again have weekly meetings to see my sisters who I have missed so much this summer. Each one of my sisters brings many unique and diverse talents and strengths to our chapter.

I will carry my Alpha Phi memories with me throughout the rest of my life, and I know that I can count on my sisters to be by my side as we continue on to the next phases of our lives. Being an Alpha Phi is not just four years of college, but it is a life-long sisterhood filled with the joy of compassion, love, and loyalty.

Joining Alpha Phi was the by far the best decision I made in my entire college experience. I am truly honored to be in the company of such a remarkable group of young women who I can call my sisters.
