Viva La Red: 
Viva La Red is our annual philanthropy for the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports Cardiac Care. Every Feburary we raise money to help support cardiac care research and to raise awareness of the increasing number of women being affected by heart problems every year. This year we had a casino night which included black jack tables, poker tables and many other casion games, as well as raffle prizes which included things such as tickets to sporting events, spa packages, jewelry, movie tickets, and much more. There were also tables set up for people to sit and chat while they enjoyed food and drinks.The Alpha Phi's raised almost $4,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundation!
Alpha Phiesta is also an annual event in the fall. It is an all you can eat taco feed held at the Alpha Phi Chapter house. It is a 2 day event in which people from the community, students and faculty from campus, and parents and alumnae of Alpha Phi come and enjoy as many tacos as they want for just $5. There are lunch and dinner sessions on both days, and the money that is raised helps our local chapter as well as Alpha Phi International.This year, the Gamma Xi Chapter raised over $4,000 for the Alpha Phi Foundations!
